Figtree Heights Public School, NSW

All Figtree Heights PS students K - 6 are thoroughly enjoying learning the song.  It is catchy and easy to learn.  Some students are choreographing some simple moves to enhance the visual performance. Our new rock band is learning the chords and drum rhythm to accompany the whole school performance on Sep 2.  They rehearse at lunchtime to an enthusiastic audience of on-lookers! Thanks for a great song and a very worthwhile program.

Sound bite

I'm overwhelmed by the way Music: Count Us In seems to tap the community’s imagination and leave such a legacy in schools. Teachers report their involvement directly leads to pro-music changes in attitudes and resources at their school and more students singing in choirs, playing in bands and orchestras, and giving music a go.
