Attached please find photo of the entire complement of students at Monogorilby State School dressed for the occasion on Thursday. As you may already know, ... had some problems with the internet that day, but we were fortunate that a parent with a portable satellite connection was able to come in and allow us to watch the live streaming from the Opera House. Our students sang with much enthusiasm, and enjoyed being part of this wonderful event.
West Ulverstone Primary School has an enrolment of about 235 children. Today we sang “The Music Is Everything” in our courtyard. We’ve been practicing for a number of weeks and All children from Kinder to grade 6 have learned the song. Even teachers and a few parents joined in. We put actions in …Hand raises in the Hey hey part of the song. As the music teacher I had worked with each class individually…but how awesome it was to stand out the front. Directing the whole school …the singing was fabulous. Thank you for this opportunity to learn a fabulous song and sing together. Next year we are going to give a challenge to the other schools in our community to come and learn the song and sing it all together in the Town Anzac park as there are ready made risers in the form of steps. Can’t wait for 2010. Thanks again!
