What is it?
A new competition for high school students in year 9 and above.
Here’s your chance to take some or all of this year’s song and reinvent it. Instrumental only, with lyrics, a cappella…it’s up to you.
Give us a hip hop or dance mix, a band version, reinterpret the song, arrange it in another style, compose an alternative chorus or verses, change the lyrics, write a rap.
How do you do it?
You’ve got options! You could:

Then what?
Complete the online submission form and upload your MP3 (4 minute maximum). Too easy.
All submissions will be reviewed by the Australian Youth Music Council as they come in. The best will be promoted on the site and reviewed by a national panel of judges.
Deadline
We’ll promote the best submissions as they come in, so get started as soon as you can. Submission deadline has now been extended 30th August 2010. Be quick!
